Few can argue that our nation, world, and even the church are in a state of division. But what can we do to bridge this division? As believers, how can we show God’s love to those around us and spread the good news of Christ’s sacrifice? Only by leaning into God! We must be intentional about rooting ourselves in His Word and seeking His presence—when we prioritize Him, we’re able to show love to others!
We can’t let ourselves become as everyone else is. People get angry at anything nowadays, politics, religion, past mistakes, etc. Whenever someone has a reason to cancel someone, they take it. How can we go against the grain? We operate in love! When someone messes up, we shouldn’t be looking to push them down further. We should be looking to give them a helping hand up into God’s grace!
We are called as believers to spread the love of Jesus Christ. When we are successfully doing this, our actions will display our faith. When your faith is real and genuine in the Lord, your actions accurately display it. Don’t stop rolling the ball when you’ve made it to church for the week—show Christ’s love to those around you in all you do!
In conclusion, the only way to bridge the divide that currently exists is through Jesus Christ. We must be a display of His love to others and show love to people in a world filled with hate. We must go against society and be different, for the sake of God’s Kingdom!
